Alexandra "Alex" M. Peruta
Growing up in Connecticut and attending Choate Rosemary Hall boarding school, Alex then moved on to Williams College where she graduated with honors and a bachelor’s degree in biology, chemistry, and biochemistry. She then worked for a year at Yale University Medical School, and is currently a graduate student attending Harvard University.
Alex has over 8 years of tutoring experience, both as a teaching assistant at Williams College and as a private tutor to middle school, high school, college, and graduate students. Alex tutors many subjects, including advanced level math, science and English. At Williams College, she worked as a teaching assistant in biology, chemistry, and English. With teaching and managing experience in many different fields, Alex is ideally suited to help many students who come our way.
Alex has completed courses toward an Educational Consulting Certificate in Higher Education/Higher Education Administration from the University of California, Irvine, and is a member of the National Tutoring Association, College Reading and Learning Association (CRLA), the International Tutoring Association, and Higher Education Consultants Association (HECA).
